The stories of Awlndreion: Part 2

One autumn Awlndreion was hunting. For hours he searched for a boar, or stag to kill, but found non. Just as he was about to go home, he spotted a large rabbit. He got closer, but the rabbit noticed him and ran, faster then any animal war beast. Yet Awlndreion would not let in escape. He shot an arrow from his bow, and struck the rabbit in his leg. When he got close, he picked up the rabbit by it ears and held a knife to it throat. But before he could skit its neck the bunny turned into a blinding light. When Awlndreion opened his eyes he was no longer holding a rabbit by its ears, but the golden hair of a young man, who's knee had an arrow in it. It was the God Hederinal, who's form was that of a large, white rabbit with speed that swarfed all others.. Although angered that Awlndreion had shot him, he was impressed by his skill and determination, and gave him two gifts. First, he gave him great speed, so to catch anything he wished, and second he gave him great hearing, to find anything that made a single noice. With these gifts, Awlndreion found and caught three stags, and over the next days he provided much food, and he, hsi father, and many a nearby woodsmen and villages had much food for the winter.
